SUMMARY:eHUBS final conference: Building hubs for sustainable and liveable cities
DESCRIPTION:eHUBS are starting to play an important part in the development of sustainable and liveable cities. As the shift to more sustainable transport becomes increasingly urgent\, we must develop services which provide a real last-mile alternatives to the private passenger car. This is where eHUBS come in. An eHUB is an on-street location where electric shared mobility services\, from escooters\, to ebikes and cargo bikes can be found and used. These mobility hubs have the potential to significantly change the future of urban mobility\, creating accessible\, affordable and centralised shared mobility services. In this conference\, we share experiences and exchange ideas about the current use and future of eHUBS. \nThe conference \nThe conference will explore the role of eHUBS\, the lessons learned from cities pioneering them and opportunities for the future found by universities. Across two days\, we hear from local authorities\, universities\, and mobility experts\, sharing knowledge and inspiring their peers. \nSeveral European cities are already experimenting with eHUBS\, piloting the concept to create cleaner\, sustainable and livable cities. This eHUBS conference is a result from the eHUBS project\, which is funded by the Interreg NWE Programme\, with six partner cities from five countries implementing the shared mobility concept\, paving the way for others to do the same. \nWhat can you expect? \nFor two days we will provide you with an interesting programme taking place in Amsterdam’s historic Pakhuis de Zwijger building. \nEach day will begin and end with a plenary session\, with several smaller breakout sessions in between. These will be unique opportunities for active engagement with those leading the eHUBS project\, learning more about how the project results can be scaled and transferred to cities and regions of all shapes and sizes. \nAn information market will also be taking place during the entire day where you can retrieve information on interesting mobility initiatives. \nDay 2 will start with a plenary session and will be followed by several rounds of workshops. Throughout the conference there will be plenty of networking opportunities where attendees meet experts\, policymakers and transport stakeholders from across Europe. Vervolgens vertalen Silke Lamoen en Michiel Penne (Slim naar Antwerpen) deze inzichten naar de mobiliteitspraktijk. \nDeze Mpact Sessie vindt online plaats op 18 februari 2022\, van 11u tot 12u. In een ongedwongen Er worden zes boeiende lezingen aangeboden over onderwerpen die onze wereld nóg mooier kunnen maken. De eerste lezing gaat over mobiliteit:\n\nOns verplaatsen in de toekomst? Volle Gaas en duurzaam! \nAngelo Meuleman (Mpact) vertelt over het mobiliteitspact met de toekomst. Wat betekent dit pact voor het Pajottenland? Hoe kunnen we hiermee samen een positieve impact hebben op mens en omgeving?\n\n\nDe Pajotse Klimaatsofa vindt telkens plaats van 19.30 tot 21.30u\, gevolgd door een kort netwerkmoment met een drankje. DESCRIPTION:De Covid-19-crisis zorgde voor een breuk in ieders gewoonten\, zeker en vast op het vlak van mobiliteit. We (her)ontdekten andere modi\, zoals fietsen of wandelen\, en telewerken werd de norm. Ook andere gebeurtenissen\, zoals een verhuis van het bedrijf of privé\, infrastructuurwerken of ontwikkelingen omtrent de parkeerplaatsen\, kunnen leiden tot gedragsverandering. Door een verandering in de omgeving denkt men na over zijn of haar mobiliteit. Deze verandering in ons verplaatsingsgedrag is een kans om nieuwe\, duurzamere\, gewoontes op te bouwen. Via Change Management kan je als bedrijf inspelen op deze kantelmomenten om gedragsverandering richting duurzame mobiliteit op te wekken. Tijdens onze sessie gaan we in op welke manier je dit als bedrijf kan vastgrijpen. \nWe nodigen u graag uit op onze gratis sessie\, die in het Nederlands doorgaat van 11u tot 12u15.
